Let's practice conversations about going to a department store.

練習れんしゅう1

先生せんせいと 役割やくわりを 分わけて 対話文たいわぶんを 読よんで みましょう。終おわったら 役割やくわりを 代かえて 読よんで みましょう。
Let's read the dialogue by splitting the roles with your teacher. After finishing, switch roles and read again.

  • 私わたしの財布さいふは あの靴屋くつやの隣となりに ある 店みせで 買かいました。
I bought my wallet at the store next to that shoe shop.
  • ABC社しゃの財布さいふは 人気にんきですね。馬うまの革かわを 使つかっているんですよね。
Wallets from ABC Company are popular. They use horse leather, don't they?
  • みたいですね。この香水こうすいは バラの匂においが します。
It seems so. This perfume smells like roses.
  • 先輩せんぱいの上田うえださんが それを つけています。
Ueda-san, my senior, uses the same perfume.

重要点 1.「の」は 名詞めいしどうしを 結むすびつけます。
"の(no)" connects two nouns.
2.並列助詞へいれつじょしは 単たんに 名詞めいしを 並ならべるだけ です。 一方いっぽう、「の」は 前まえの名詞めいしが 後あとの名詞めいしに 説明せつめいを 付つけ加くわえます。
Conjunctive particles are only used to list single nouns. Meanwhile, "の(no)" allows the preceding noun to add more context to the following noun.
3.「所有しょゆう (=私わたしの財布さいふ)」「作成者さくせいしゃ (= ABC社しゃの財布さいふ)」「内容ないよう・種類しゅるい (= 馬うまの革かわ)」「位置いち (= 靴屋くつやの隣となり)」「同格どうかく (= 先輩せんぱいの上田うえださん)」の 5つの 種類しゅるいが あります。
There are five types of "の(no)": Possession (e.g., watashi no saifu "my wallet"), Creator (e.g., ABC sha no saifu "wallet by ABC Company"), Content/Type (e.g., uma no kawa "horse leather"), Location (e.g., kutsuya no tonari "next to the shoe shop"), and Equivalence (e.g., senpai no Ueda-san "senior Ueda-san").
ポイント 「みたいですね」は 相手あいてが 言いったこと について 同おなじ認識にんしきを している ときに 言いいます。
"mitaidesune" is used when you share the same understanding as the other person.
