返品へんぴんする 練習れんしゅうを します。
Let's practice returning an item.

練習れんしゅう1

先生せんせいと 役割やくわりを 分わけて 対話文たいわぶんを 読よんで みましょう。終おわったら 役割やくわりを 代かえて 読よんで みましょう。
Let's read the dialogue by splitting the roles with your teacher. After finishing, switch roles and read again.

• 先月せんげつ購入こうにゅうしました 御社おんしゃのオフィスデスクを 返品へんぴんできますでしょうか？ 銀色ぎんいろの取とっ手てが 壊こわれています。
  I purchased your office desk last month. Can I return it? The silver handle is broken.
• 大変たいへん申もうし訳わけございませんでした。私わたくし、営業えいぎょうの木下きのしたと申もうします。恐縮きょうしゅくですが、不良品ふりょうひんにつきましては、交換対応こうかんたいおうさせていただきます。
  We sincerely apologize. My name is Kinoshita from sales. I’m afraid, but for defective products, we will offer a replacement.
• そうですか。
  I see.
• 納品書のうひんしょの商品番号しょうひんばんごうの上うえに 交換こうかんセンターの電話番号でんわばんごうがございます。
  There is a phone number for the exchange center above the product number on the delivery note.
• そちらに 電話でんわします。部下ぶかのオフィスデスクも 不良品ふりょうひんでしたよ。
  I'll call them. My subordinate's office desk was also defective.

1.「の」は 名詞めいしどうしを 結むすびつけます。
"の(no)" connects two nouns.
2.並列助詞へいれつじょしは 単たんに 名詞めいしを 並ならべるだけ です。 一方いっぽう、「の」は 前まえの名詞めいしが 後あとの名詞めいしに 説明せつめいを 付つけ加くわえます。
Conjunctive particles are only used to list single nouns. Meanwhile, "の(no)" allows the preceding noun to add more context to the following noun.
3.「所有しょゆう (=部下ぶかのオフィスデスク)」「作成者さくせいしゃ (= 御社おんしゃのオフィスデスク)」「内容ないよう・種類しゅるい (= 銀色ぎんいろの取とっ手て)」「位置いち (= 商品番号しょうひんばんごうの上うえ)」「同格どうかく (= 営業えいぎょうの木下きのした)」の 5つの 種類しゅるいが あります。
There are five types of "の(no)": Possession (e.g., buka no desuku "My subordinate's office desk"), Creator (e.g., onsha no desuku "your office desk"), Content/Type (e.g., giniro no totte "silver handle"), Location (e.g., shouhin bangou no ue "above the product number"), and Equivalence (e.g., eigyou no kinoshita "Kinoshita from sale").

相手あいての言いうことに うなずいたり、同意どうい、理解りかいを示しめすときは 「そうですか」と よく 言いいます。
When nodding, agreeing, or showing understanding of what the other person is saying, you often say "soudesuka"(I see.).

Let's read the conversation with your teacher, filling in the blanks with one of the following words. Then switch roles and read again.

  Could you tell me the reason for the return?

  I ordered black headphones, but received blue ones. (Content/Type)

  We sincerely apologize. Could you please send them back to the address listed on the back of the product catalog? (Location)

[対話文たいわぶん2]

• 先週せんしゅうそちらで 購入こうにゅうした　　　　　を 返品へんぴんできますでしょうか？　(作成者さくせいしゃ)
  I purchased XYZ's speakers from you last week. Can I return them? (Creator)
• 何なにか 欠陥けっかんがございましたでしょうか？
  Was there any defect?
• いえ、　　　　　が 少すこしオフィスの雰囲気ふんいきと 合あわなかったので。　(内容ないよう・種類しゅるい)
  No, it's just that the product color doesn't quite match the office atmosphere. (Content/Type)
• あいにく お客様都合きゃくさまつごうによる 返品へんぴんは お受うけできません。
  Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for customer convenience.
• 　　　　　は 返品可能へんぴんかのうと おっしゃっていたのですが。　(同格どうかく)
  The salesperson told me I could return it. (Equivalence)

あなたは、取引先とりひきさきから購入こうにゅうしたパソコンを 返品へんぴんしたいと思おもっています。 取引先とりひきさきに その事ことを伝つたえて下ください。
※先生せんせいは あなたの取引先とりひきさきの役やくをします
※先生せんせいが 間あいだに いくつか質問しつもんをするので、それにも答こたえて下ください
You want to return the computers you purchased from a business partner. Please inform your business partner of this.
*Your teacher will play the role of your business partner and ask some questions in between, so please answer them.
